No. Our English-speaking interpreter accompanies you at every stage — from consultations with your doctor to receiving results. We do everything possible to ensure you feel confident, even if it is your first visit to Japan. Interpretation for the leisure portion of your stay can also be arranged.

We select facilities experienced in treating international patients, based on your goals, preferences, and priorities. Diagnostic capabilities, specialisation, patient environment, and specific requirements — such as female patients — are all considered. We provide a clear, detailed description of each option.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality, length of stay, and current entry regulations. ZENDIA does not handle visa applications. We recommend checking with your local embassy, consulate, or travel agent for up-to-date information. We are happy to point you in the right direction if needed.

We recommend contacting us as early as possible — ideally several months before your intended travel date. Designing a programme, confirming a medical facility, arranging an interpreter, and booking all elements of the trip takes time. The earlier you reach out, the more options we can offer.

ZENDIA supports you throughout the entire journey: from programme consultation and liaison with the medical facility, to arranging interpretation, transport, accommodation, and in-country support. After your screening, we assist with results explanation and next steps. The scope of support is defined individually.

Medical interpretation is provided by professionals with both English and Japanese fluency and experience in medical settings. We aim to assign the same interpreter throughout — from your pre-visit consultation to results explanation and report translation. Interpretation for the leisure portion of your stay can also be arranged.

We coordinate scheduling in advance to minimise waiting times wherever possible. The total time at the facility depends on your programme, the number of examinations, and the clinic's internal flow. We brief you on the day's schedule in advance so you know exactly what to expect.

Yes. Your doctor and interpreter will explain your results together and outline recommended next steps. These may include further tests in Japan, follow-up guidance in your home country, or lifestyle and health management recommendations.

Yes. Comprehensive screenings typically require specific instructions — such as fasting from the evening before or on the morning of the examination. The day before your screening, your interpreter will meet with you in person to assist with health questionnaires and confirm all details. We ensure you arrive fully prepared.

Yes. We take into account your age, any concerns or symptoms, length of stay, budget, and personal preferences. Our approach is not a standard package — it is a personally designed programme that balances medical thoroughness with a format that suits your journey.

Yes, absolutely. Family members are welcome to join you on the trip. On the day of screening, the patient generally undergoes examinations alone, but we can arrange a separate programme for accompanying family members during that time. Depending on the medical facility, family members may also be able to attend the results consultation.

Yes. For female patients, we can arrange gynaecological examinations, a female interpreter, and, where possible, a female physician, as well as facilities with dedicated women's areas. The overall programme is also tailored to your individual preferences.

Yes. On request, we provide information on halal restaurants, mosques, suitable hotels, and comfortable facilities. We are happy to incorporate religious requirements into your itinerary and ensure a peaceful, respectful experience for you and your family.

In general, the final cost remains within the initially agreed estimate. If a programme change is required for medical reasons, we will notify you in advance and explain why. No additional costs will be incurred without your consent. Changes requested by the client after programme confirmation may be subject to separate charges.

Once the screening programme and accommodation are confirmed, ZENDIA provides you with an itinerary and cost estimate. After your approval, payment is made through our partner travel agency. ZENDIA does not accept direct payment. Flights, visas, and insurance are also arranged and paid through the local agency.

Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the programme content and booking status. All terms will be clearly set out in writing when the estimate and itinerary are confirmed. If you wish to make changes or cancel after confirmation, we will review the situation individually and agree on next steps with you.
